सप्तरीको कञ्चनरुप नगरपालिका–४, जगतपुरस्थित राम टोलका बासिन्दाहरू वर्षौंदेखि घरआँगनमै रहेको बिजुलीको पोलका कारण ठूलो समस्या भोग्न बाध्य भएका छन्। राम टोलमा रघुनन्दन रामको घरअगाडि रहेको उक्त पोलबाट बारम्बार आगोका चिंगारी निस्कँदा स्थानीयको ज्यान जोखिममा परेको छ। पाँच वर्षअघि सोही पोलबाट सर्ट सर्किट हुँदा रघुनन्दनको घरमा आगलागी भएको थियो, जसमा उनकी पत्नी विमला देवी राम गम्भीर घाइते भएकी थिइन्।
रघुनन्दन रामका अनुसार, उक्त दुर्घटनापछि स्थानीय तह, वडा कार्यालय, र प्रादेशिक सरकारसँग बारम्बार समस्या समाधानका लागि आग्रह गर्दा पनि कुनै सुनुवाइ भएको छैन। उनले भने, “हामी प्रत्येक दिन बिजुलीको चिंगारीले घरमा दुर्घटना हुने डरमा बस्नुपर्छ। समस्या समाधानका लागि सबै ठाउँमा गुहार ग¥यौं, तर अहिलेसम्म कसैले ध्यान दिएन।”
वडाध्यक्षको आश्वासन तर काम छैन
रामले वडाध्यक्ष जोगेन्द्र पासवानलाई चुनावअघि पोल सार्ने प्रतिबद्धता जनाए पनि अहिले आएर बेवास्ता गरेको आरोप लगाएका छन्। उनका अनुसार, वडाध्यक्षले पटकपटक बजेट विनियोजन भएको र छिट्टै समस्या समाधान हुने आश्वासन दिए पनि अहिलेसम्म काम नभएको हो।
तर, वडाध्यक्ष पासवानले भने, “बजेट व्यवस्थापनको प्रक्रिया अघि बढाइएको छ। समस्या समाधान गर्न नगरपालिका र अन्य निकायसँग समन्वय भइरहेको छ। छिट्टै पोल सार्ने काम थालिन्छ।”
राम टोलका अन्य स्थानीय बासिन्दाहरूले भने वडाध्यक्षको आश्वासनमाथि विश्वास गुमाएको बताएका छन्। उनीहरूले समस्या समाधान नगरे ठूलो दुर्घटना हुन सक्ने चेतावनी दिएका छन्। एक स्थानीय बासिन्दाले भने, “यदि समयमा समाधान भएन भने हाम्रो ज्यान र सम्पत्तिको सुरक्षा कसले गर्नेरु हामीले बारम्बार आग्रह गर्दा पनि कसैले सुनुवाइ गरेको छैन। अब अर्को दुर्घटना भयो भने यसको जिम्मेवारी सम्बन्धित निकायले लिनुपर्छ।”
विद्युत प्राधिकरणको प्रतिक्रिया
नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरण वितरण केन्द्र कञ्चनपुरका प्रमुख अरुण कुमार साहले समस्या समाधानका लागि केन्द्रीय बजेटमा योजना समावेश गरिएको जानकारी दिए। उनले भने, “यो समस्या हाम्रो ध्यानमा आएको छ। बजेट सुनिश्चित भएलगत्तै पोल सार्ने काम सुरु हुनेछ।”
राम टोलका बासिन्दाहरूका लागि घरआँगनमै रहेको बिजुलीको पोल अहिले ठूलो समस्या बनेको छ। समयमै समाधान नभए थप दुर्घटनाको सम्भावना रहन्छ। यसका लागि विद्युत प्राधिकरण, वडा कार्यालय, र नगरपालिकाबीच समन्वय गरी समस्या समाधान गर्न आवश्यक देखिएको छ। स्थानीयले सम्बन्धित निकायलाई तत्काल प्रभावकारी कदम चाल्न अपिल गरेका छन्।
